Any learning situation can be applied to Serious Games, from full clean room suit up to flight mechanics to complex lab procedures and everything in between. Serious Games allows the presenter to pinpoint interactions on as broad or narrow base as needed to explore the topic at hand. And it provides the student with an environment where experimentation, exploration are possible and even allows learning through failure without serious risk to sensitive equipment.
